Rachel Whitman Groves
Rachel Whitman Groves is an Actress, Producer, Writer, and Acting Teacher. She can be seen in numerous television shows as well as movies including the recurring role of Beth in the new TNT hit CLAWS. She has appeared in numerous theaters regionally and Off Broadway including the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, La MaMa ETC, and the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC. Rachel has toured internationally with the Grotowski-based paratheatrical Theatre Group Dzieci and with Bessie award-winning, Cirque-style Alice Farley’s Dance Theatre.
She holds a B.A. from Bennington College titled the Body as a Tool for Performance, in which she incorporated her investigations of acting, opera, and modern dance to best utilize the full body for performance. She continues to study her craft with Master Teachers Larry Moss and Tim Phillips. She is co-producer/co-founder of Inner Compass Theatre. Rachel coaches professional actors in her private studio and just finished quadrupling the pool of students for the Talented-in-Theatre program for Einstein Charter Schools.
In addition to being a working actress, producer, and writer, Rachel joined the Launch team in August 2017 as one of our acting instructors at Launch Model and Talent in Metairie, LA.
